Grades K-6

Conducted in various elementary schools throughout San Diego for one hour a week for four weeks.

Kids Planet is a unique educational program that combines not only science and creative expression but also helps children focus on social skills and help foster a positive approach to learning and trying new things. We believe that if children are enjoying what they are learning than it will create an atmosphere of life-long learning.

Kids Planet has two separate programs: Science and Creative Expression

Science

Hands-on experiments that not only incorporate science but also math and foreign language. Children have discussions based on the topic and form a hypothesis. The children then test out that hypothesis by conducting hands-on experiments.

Creative Expression

This program helps children to think outside the box and is more than just ‘art and craft’ – it's a whole -learning experience. Children will learn and discuss an exciting topic of interest each week.  Each child is then encouraged to use their imagination and create their own interpretation of what they learned and talked about.  This can be obtained through many ways such as, creating something visually, through dance, conducting experiments or however your child interprets the topic.
